 What are city hall office hours?

The city has a part-time city clerk. The city clerk is at city hall 2-3 hours per week, but can reached best by email at:  City Clerk, Cindie J Reiter

Wednesdays are office hour days - unless posting board indicates another time, such as the case when attending other meetings, training off-site, etc.

 What is the recycling pick up schedule?

The city has a single-sort recycling program.  All recyclable are placed in one container - no sorting required. 

The pick up is every Wednesday. Please have your recycle cart at the curb by 6:00am.  The Recycle Cart should be on one side of the driveway and the trash cart on the other side.

The cost of recycling is included in the property taxes, thus no individual invoice is sent by the hauler to residents.

 At what point is a snow emergency declared?

The City of St. Mary's Point will generally follow the county or state snow emergency declaration.

 Do I need a permit for a recreational fire?

Recreational fires are permited in a fire pit on your property.  

Remember the 3x3x3 rule:  Three feet wide pit, 3 foot long limbs/branches and flames 3 feet high is local regulation for recreational fires.
